How I turned my perimenopause journey into a passion for helping others...

I know first-hand how overwhelming and frustrating perimenopause can be.
For years, I felt like I was on a never-ending rollercoaster of unpredictable symptoms—bloating, digestive issues, acne, and that stubborn belly fat that seemed to appear overnight. Add in memory lapses, irritability, and skin flare-ups, and I felt like I was living in a body that wasn’t my own.
At first, I thought it was just work stress. But when the symptoms kept piling up and became impossible to ignore, I realised something bigger was at play. That's when I decided to take control of my health and do my own “health experiment” to understand what was going on.
With my qualifications in weight-loss nutrition and perimenopause health, I turned my focus to the food I was eating, my lifestyle habits, and how they were affecting my symptoms. What I discovered was nothing short of amazing. By making simple, sustainable changes—focusing on what to eat, when to eat, and how to eat for my unique perimenopause body—I started to see huge improvements.
I shed 2.5 inches around my belly, slept better, and my energy skyrocketed in just one month. My mind was blown! But what really changed was my confidence and sense of well-being. I wasn’t just losing weight—I was getting my life back.
This transformation led me to my mission: to help women just like you navigate perimenopause with the same simple, sustainable changes that worked for me. Perimenopause doesn’t have to be something you just survive—it’s the start of a new chapter, and I want to help you reclaim your health, energy, and joy along the way.
What I discovered through perimenopause
The moment I realised it wasn’t just about losing weight—it was about understanding my unique symptoms and nourishing my body accordingly—was a game-changer.
I started to see perimenopause not as a series of random, unmanageable symptoms, but as a phase of life that needed a strategic approach.
What clicked for me was understanding that every woman’s journey is different. Perimenopause affects us all in unique ways, and the key to feeling our best during this transition is working with our bodies, not against them. By focusing on the root causes of my symptoms—whether it was hormonal imbalances, gut health, or inflammation—I could tailor my nutrition and lifestyle choices to what my body really needed.
This is when I developed my Perimenopause Archetype framework.
